The Slovenian Mountain Trail that passes through the municipality of Idrija.
The Slovenian Mountain Trail leaves the municipality of Žiri at Sivka and continues through our municipality through the village of Ledine, Ledinsko Razpotje, along the ridge of Golica to "Raufnk" and on to Rudarska ulica, all the way to the town square in Idrija. It continues to Hleviše Mountain, over Kočevše to Vojsko, Mrzla rupa and over Škrbina to Srednji Golak, where it passes to the Ajdovščina side.

The route through the municipality of Idrija runs from Pirnatova koča on Javornik to Črni Vrh, through Idrijski Log to Idrija and continues to Ledinske Krnice and Mrzli vrh and on to the Cerkno region.
