A very varied tour will lead you through the Upper Idrijca Landscape Park past the rich natural and technical heritage connected with the 500-year history of mining in Idrija. Already at the beginning of the Strug Gorge, the Divje jezero lake invites you, and just a few hundred meters further on you can see the Strug Tectonic Window, where the rocks do not follow each other in geological time sequence. Climbing enthusiasts can find the Strug climbing centre there, and a little further on the natural Lajšt bathing area, where you can enjoy unspoilt nature, recreation and catering. Lajšt is an excellent starting point for continuing the route through the Idrijca or Belca valleys or for a circular route through both valleys. In the Belca valley, you first come across the so-called Hag's Tooth (Babji zob), a solitary dolomite stone, and after a few hundred meters you quench your thirst with water from the spring at the Sign under Tršanovše. Further along the route, the mighty Belčne and Putrihove klavže water barriers attract attention, which were used to float wood for the needs of the mine and the town.
