If you decide on the extended version of the route and follow the Matuckar and Kampare trails, you will see some typical karst phenomena and how people in the past adapted to the difficult living conditions on the aforementioned plateau. Locals in Idrijski Log understand the term Kampare trail as a three-meter wide, solidly built and well-maintained road that leads from Klobučani in Idrijski Log towards Pevec above the Divje Jezero lake. In several places, it is cut into bedrock, and crosses all sinkholes with a well-constructed embankment.
