The route to the Črni Vrh Plateau will initially lead you steeply uphill to the little-known but very picturesque and scenic plateaus and hamlets of the Idrija midlands, as you will cycle through Dole and Gore. In front of Godovič, you will learn how dinosaur footprints came to the Idrija region, and on the Črni Vrh Plateau, you will stop at the local cheese maker and refresh yourself with his delicacies on the way through the picturesque landscape. If you are interested, you will also be able to meet the "linen wives" or the local potter. You will end the journey with a descent into the Idrijca valley, where you can cool off in the Idrijska Bela bathing area, admire the mysterious Divje jezero lake and you will also learn that the Idrija region is the home of the shortest river in Slovenia.
